Title: Peggy's Song (If Heaven Had a Dj)
Style: Vocal Dance, EDM
Year: 2026
Jolly Olly’s “Peggy’s Song (If Heaven Had a DJ)” turns a personal tribute into an uplifting dance track. An old-school piano sample gives the song a warm, familiar starting point, while contemporary EDM production adds fresh energy and a clear dancefloor focus. The blend is central to its charm: nostalgic piano tones meet a modern beat, connecting memories of classic dance music with a new chapter in the artist’s songwriting.
The arrangement keeps the tribute accessible and lively, allowing its heartfelt story to sit naturally within the music. Female vocals bring character to the track, while the lyrics honor Peggy with affection and imagine her continuing to share music beyond this life. The idea is touching without losing the song’s celebratory spirit.
There is a special poignancy in knowing Peggy heard and loved an early version. That story gives every musical choice extra meaning, from the familiar piano sample to the dance-ready production.
“Peggy’s Song” is a sincere, joyful memorial that celebrates friendship through melody, rhythm, and a genuine love of dance music.
